Best Preparations for the Diwali Celebrations.

Hey guys, hope you all are doing well.

Today, I am going to share with you another brand new blog on the Preparations for the Diwali celebrations.

Like every year, I am super excited about the Diwali preparation this year also. Yes, guys, we all passionately wait for the Diwali festival, and why not Diwali itself is a blessing to us, bring prosperity, love and light in our lives.

The countdown for Diwali festival has started; there is a lot to decide like, which outfit I am going to wear, designs and colours combination for Rangoli that I am going to draw, where to put lamps but readers there is much more than that…..

How do we forget the cleaning of the house? It should be the first aspect of Diwali preparations. I will clean the outer area doors, window, balcony and its roof. Do you like to contribute to cleaning in your home? Let me know in the comment.

To have the best Diwali celebration ever, make sure you follow these simple steps below:

1) Cleaning your home: Cleaning is a ritual to ensure the house is ready for the arrival of the Goddesses.

2) Decor your home: We decorate our home with colour and lights. Marigold garlands, bells, flower garlands, wall hangings and lights are a cheerful addition to welcome the Goddess of Wealth and Prosperity.

3) Shop for Outfits: People wear traditional wears this day, it is equally important to look beautiful as your home.

4) Festival of Lights: Diwali is a festival of light; we lit divas, candles, decor our home with as many lights as possible.

5) Rangoli Designs: We draw traditional Rangoli designs in shapes of flowers, leaves and animals are the most popular at the entrance.

6) Preparing Festive Meals: Diwali is also called the festival of flavours. We all celebrate Diwali eating and sharing sweets and food items with our nearer ones.

8) Lakshmi  Pooja: People decorate the pooja area with flower garlands, hanging bells, Divas and other decor pieces. People worship Maa Lakshmi - the Goddess of wealth & prosperity with God Ganesh and pray for the blessings.

9) Do Party: Get together with your nearer and dearest ones is such a beauty of this occasion and give us a lovely and enjoyable experience every year.

Guys I deliberately skipped the fire cracking step because, on the day of Diwali, lots of hospitals get cases of accidents that usually happen as a result of burning crackers.

We are knowingly unknowingly harming the animals. I request you to avoid crackers.

These days air pollution is on the peak. I guess it is a good idea to limit the number of crackers you buy. Good initiatives have been started by the government to make people aware to buy Eco-friendly crackers, or better, no crackers at all. Undoubtedly Eco-friendly crackers limit the pollution but don’t completely stop.

Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful Diwali filled with happiness and good fortune.
