As rich a person can get treatment for his illness, but how a poor cure his illness, as he has to face a lot of trouble for his two times of meal.

A nation can develop only if citizens are Healthy. A Healthy economy is directly related to its citizens. Health Card is considered one of the progressive ways in health care by the Government.
Health Card is a card issued by Government which evidence the right of the cardholder to concessions, such as the cost of some prescription, medicines, medical services, and other government concessions.

Different Countries Running Different Scheme And Plans For Their Health Care System.

In Australia having a Health Care Card means you can get paid for medical treatment less or for free.

There are different health care plans in different providences of Canada also. You get a different range of concessions to the cost of some prescription medicines, medical services, and other government concessions.

India is also not behind in terms of development and improving its Health Care System. There is a number of government health care schemes, Insurance and plans for poor household.

Healthy India

·         Ayushman Bharat Yojana under which you can get treatment up to 5 Lac of rupees at an empanelled hospital (public or private).

  • Rashtriya Swasthiya Bima Yojana (RSBY) provide health insurance coverage to the unrecognised sector workers belonging to the BPL category and their family members shall be beneficiaries under this scheme.

  • Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana (AABY) covers natural death/accidental death, permanent total disability, and partial permanent disability. Provides coverage to individuals residing in rural areas and individuals who are below the poverty line.

  • Universal Health Insurance Scheme (UHIS) covers medical expenses, provides a personal accident cover to the primary breadwinner of the family, and offers compensation to the family if the earning member passes away.

In-state level there are many health care schemes and plans are running such as Mohalla Clinics in Delhi and Basti Clinics in Hyderabad has received highly appreciated from Internal Organizations and many NGOs too.

Recently, J&K Lt Governor Girish Chandra Murmu Launches 'Student Health Card' Scheme for over 12 lakh students. LG said the attention on health and education is a nation-building strategy.
